Avonlea Low Temperature Electric Downstream Heaters
This line of Avonlea low temperature heaters is designed to be installed between the fan and the bin. It is equipped with a high temperature limit switch and a static pressure switch that will turn off the heater if the aeration fan stops.
Electricity is the source of heat for this burner and is available in two heat ranges. The 30,000 btu unit draws 38 amps when all three elements are on. This unit is available in 9 X 14 square, 18’ round, and 24" round and is generally used on 3-5 hp fans. The 51,000 btu unit draws 68 amps when all three elements are on. This unit is available in 24" round and 28" round and is generally used on 5-7 hp fans. Please note that in September/October additional heat may be required from another source to reach your target drying temperature.
All above models are equipped with switching that will allow you to run one, two, or three elements. Indicator lights on the heater show how many elements are in use.
