Summers Truck Mounted Supersprayer
This big sprayer features a wet boom for fast coverage of large acreages. Five coverage widths are available including 60', 66' 8", 70', 80' and 90'. Windshields are available on all sprayer sizes.
The 350 and 500 gallon (U.S.) polypropylene tank, with a ten inch fillwell, is positioned, along with the boom, directly behind the cab for better weight distribution. The low profile tank* provides the operator with excellent boom visibility.
The tank tapers fore, aft and sideways to a three inch sump at the bottom center to provide nearly complete drainage. The smooth curved bottom allows for thorough chemical mixing.
Assembled using all corrosion resistant components, this sprayer utilizes two electric ball valves for boom control; one to control the left and center sections, and one to control the right section. An optional 3rd ball valve permits
individual control of each section. Included in the system is a 50 or 100 mesh nozzle strainer, an agitation system, on a separate valve for adjustable agitation, a pressure monitor (click HERE for more information) and an electronic boom control.
The pump is coupled directly to a 5.5 or 8 HP Honda engine. A larger engine is optional.
Other options include:
Mix and Fill, Bottom Fill Kit, Clean Water Tank, Raven 205 Monitor, Boom Line Strainer, and Foam Marker with Platform.

Sprayer booms easily fold along sides for a compact transport width.

*The mold for these low profile sprayer tanks is owned by Summers Mfg. Co., Inc. and they are available only on Summers Truck Mounted Supersprayers.

Spray tank is tapered from all directions to a bottom sump to provide nearly complete emptying and easier cleanup.
Boom Tip Lift allows boom to conform to ground slopes. Each boom can be hydraulically rotated 12 degrees without leaving the truck cab.
The Summers sturdy, truss-type Flex-action boom is designed to swing rather than bounce over rough terrain. This self-leveling system is essential with long booms in order to maintain a constant ground-to-nozzle distance. The booms are independently adjustable for height. The spray system is controlled from the cab by a swing-away electronic monitor/control unit.

Booms are equipped with ductile cast break-aways to reduce damage when contacting an obstruction. Gravity returns them to spraying position. Booms are hydraulically dampened and equipped with spring returns.
The
Tip Lift allows the operator to lift the boom tip to conform to ground slopes. The electro-hydraulic lift is activated from the truck cab and will raise the 90' boom tip 9' 9" from horizontal in 5 seconds.

The Aluminum Wet Boom keeps the pressure losses low to enable application rates up to 20 gallon (U.S.) per acre. Ten boom sizes are available in two nozzle size increments from 60' to 90'. Optional Windshield is available for all models.

Pinwheel Nozzle
Booms are equipped with Quickjet 3-Head Pinwheel nozzles spaced on 20" centers. Quickjet nozzles are self aligning and can be used with 80 or 110 degree flat fan spray tips for desired application rate. Pinwheels permit quick changing of spray tips.

Optional
Manual End Nozzles may be added for additional coverage. Electric Boom End Nozzles allow in-cab control of perimeter spraying.
