This Avonlea low temperature upstream heater is designed to be place on the suction side of the fan. The benefit of this low temperature heater is simple transfer between bins that have fans permanently mounted on them. One heater can service several bins which is very cost effective. A unique air mix adapter on the heater provides complete protection for the fan motor.
Propane Vapour is the source of fuel for this heater and a gas regulator is supplied with the unit so the output can be adjusted from 60,000 to 100,000 btu. The regulator allows the heater to be used on a variety of fans. For example a 3 hp fan usually requires only 60,000 btu to reach target heat increases while a 5 hp or 7 hp fan will require more.
This CGA rated heater is equipped with a heat sensing gas valve which will shut off the flow of propane should the burner flame go out. An optional gas shut off valve is available to shut off the propane flow if the fan shuts off.
This burner is designed to fit on both inline and full centrifugal fans and is easily mounted with the supplied tie strap assembly.
