The Wheatheart self-propelled Auger Transport Kit lets one man move the largest of augers effortlessly. The Wheatheart Self-Propelled Kit is an add-on package for all makes of augers. For both filling and emptying bins, one man can place the auger easily in position. From the centrally located control panel the operator can winch the auger up or down, drive the auger around or raise and lower the intake. The Hydraulic Winch kit comes standard on all self-propelled kits and features an automatic brake on the winch to prevent the discharge from dropping unexpectedly. The Hydraulic Winch eliminates tiresome and slow cranking by hand. The 9 horsepower orbital motor on the wheel gear drive provides excellent traction and power to drive the auger through mud, snow, ice and soft ground.

			Quick, Easy, 3 Step Transport Don't push, pull or lift your auger: 1. Just drive up and hook up. 2. Raise castor wheels up to transport position. 3. Disengage drive wheels. The auger is ready for transport.

WEIGHT MEANS TRACTION

	* Having the positive drive on the auger wheels allows for maximum weight and traction when driving the auger into the bin. * The castor wheels allow very easy alignment of the auger to the bin chute.
NOTE: In this position an 8" x 45' grain auger has an average 659 Kg (1450 lbs) on the drive wheels.
	* When the intake of the grain auger is aligned in the bin chute, the castor wheels are lifted off the ground . The grain auger is then driven into the bin. The auger tube follows its "natural" path to the bin floor. * When taking the auger out of the bin you still have traction. The tube just "slides" out of the bin.
NOTE: In this position an 8" x 45' grain auger has an average 770 Kg (1700 lbs) on the drive wheels.
DRIVE SHAFT ELECTRIC CLUTCH Features: * electric clutch is mounted to the drive shaft of the gas engine. * requires a 1" or 1 1/8" OD drive shaft on the gas engine. * control switches located at the intake and head ends of the grain auger. * clutch is electro magnetic in design and requires at least 12 amps to operate. Benefits: * auger can be turned on or off from the grain bin or truck box. * the auger belts stay tight at all times. * there is no "drag" from the auger belts when starting the gas engine. * when operating the self-propelled kit the auger flighting does not "free wheel". * with the drive shaft style clutch the auger belts STOP when the clutch is turned off even though the gas engine is still running.
